After School Program
Our After School Program enriches students’ lives with a broad variety of activities –that keeps them motivated and engaged after the regular school day ends. Led by our Extended Day Coordinator, the After School Program offers exciting activities every day and enables students to learn, have fun, and most importantly, build self-esteem, friendships, and responsibility.
On any given Monday through Friday afternoon, you will find our After School students enthusiastically gathering in our extended day classroom. The room is bustling with excitement as the children chat, choose their snacks, and are then escorted outside for a break on the playground. Planned activities occur each day, following a theme.
Additionally, After School provides ALA students with the opportunity to work on homework with support of our extended day staff so students can stay one step ahead of nightly homework and long-term assignments.
